Welcome to JW Psychology
Where science meets soul in the healing journey
If you're here, you might be feeling you could do with some help. Sometimes we can feel overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply ready for something to shift. At JW Psychology, you'll find a safe, grounded space where your thoughts, emotions, and deeper questions are held with care and respect.
Whether you're navigating stress, trauma, relationship patterns, or spiritual uncertainty, my approach weaves together evidence-based psychology with deep listening and insight into the more intangible aspects of being human.
Meet Dr Jeannet Weijers
Registered Psychologist | Clinical Hypnotherapist | EMDR & Trauma Focused
With over twenty years experience, I bring a calm, compassionate presence to our work together. My background includes cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy, and workplace mental health. I also have a lifelong interest in mystical and spiritual traditions - an area many clients find deeply affirming when navigating their own questions about purpose, meaning, or awakening.
I welcome both mainstream and metaphysical perspectives, grounded in the belief that healing is holistic: mind, body, and spirit.
How I Can Help
You might be seeking help with:
- Anxiety, panic, or overwhelm
- Depression or burnout
- Grief, loss, or life transitions
- Past trauma (including PTSD)
- Spiritual crises or awakenings
- Performance, focus, or confidence
- Habit change or inner blocks
- Spirit Release & Unattached Burdens
I offer brief interventions or longer-term support, always tailored to your needs.
A Safe & Insightful Space
Sessions are confidential, practical, and deeply human. You won't be judged, rushed, or pushed. Instead, we'll work together to gently uncover what's going on - emotionally, psychologically, and even spiritually where needed - and discover real ways forward.
Ready to Begin?
I invite you to book an initial consultation or call for a brief chat. Whether you're new to therapy or returning to it, you'll be warmly welcomed.
